Philadelphia Flower Show 2014 – ARTiculture!

In a little less than a month, the annual Philadelphia Flower Show presented by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will be in full swing at the Pennsylvania Convention Center March 1-9. This year, the show will be blending art into the flower scene with this year’s theme of “ARTiculture” where art meets horticulture.

The concept of the show is based on the premise that flowers and natural settings have been the subject of artists through the ages, captured forever on some of the most famous paintings in the world.

Highlights of the 2014 Philadelphia Flower Show include a butterfly exhibit. Why not? What goes together better than flowers and butterflies. Gracing the entrance will be a garden inspired by artist Alexander Calder. Other attractions include a “Gardner’s Studio”, a wine tasting and a variety of artistic displays and a Q and A session with Rachael Ray. It should be a great time!
